Aaron and David are a progressive composer duo working in film and television. Their working practice puts an emphasis on experimentation and conversation, both with each other and their co-creatives, capturing the spirit of fruitful collaboration.
Upcoming work includes scores for Adolescence, a single-shot, 4-part series for Netflix/Warp Films, feature documentary Con Mum for Netflix, and the second series of Malpractice for ITV/World Productions.
Their film work includes 4x BAFTA nominated feature Boiling Point (2022), Accused for XYZ/Netflix (2023), award-winning Amazon feature-documentary Arsène Wenger: Invincible (2021) and feature film Villain (2020) directed by their frequent collaborator, Philip Barantini.
Aaron & David’s TV work includes BBC series Boiling Point (2023), the series adaptation of Barantini’s award-winning feature starring Stephen Graham, Malpractice (2023) for World Productions/ITV starring Niamh Algar and James Purefoy and four seasons of When The World Watched, for FIFA/Noah Media Group (2020-2022).
Aaron & David met at The University of Bristol, where they were both scholars on the Masters in Composition course. They played in bands together and developed their own composing practices, before reuniting in 2017 on their first short film, Kin, starring Joseph Quinn.
Alongside their film work, Aaron & David have each released solo albums and will soon release their debut joint record, This Time It’s Always Real, which draws on their experience as collaborators.
